then grandpa hit the streets. Although grandma only made her recipe

to be an after supper dessert, many people enjoyed this refreshment

time lemon was the only flavor grandma had made, but grandpa seen

great earning potential so they both got to work and opened their

first Italian water ice stand. Then came cherry and soon 20 other

flavors that I have the recipes and know how for an successful

Italian ice business. They wound up with 3 successful stores and 3

mobile trucks in all. Although the refreshment was made by scratch and

by hand, I have pop's first machine made in the 1920's that made this

refreshment in small bulk. The family business had been passed all the

way down to me where I for a short period of time took over the family

legend. Since then, although I still tinker with the product, I had moved

on and no longer have interest in this type of business. I have decided to
